The Macon, Universal Order, is made up of men of all races and nationalities, hosted by initiating and gathered in shops, in which, aided by symbols and allegories, studying and working for the improvement of human society.

It is based on love and Fraternal in the hope that with love of God, the homeland, the family and the next, with tolerance and wisdom, constant research and freedom of Truth, with the evolution of human knowledge by the philosophy, science and arts, under the triad of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity and within the principles of ethics, of Reason and Justice, the world reach the general happiness and peace worldwide.

From this we can deduce the following statement:

* The Maçonaria proclaims, since its inception, the existence of a Creator Principle, which, in respect to all religions, called Great Architect of the Universe;
* The Maçonaria does not impose limits on the research of truth, and to ensure that freedom requires of all the greater tolerance;
* The Maçonaria is open to men of all races, classes and beliefs, whether religious or political, except those which deprive man of freedom of conscience, of expression of thought, restrict the rights and dignity of the human person and demand unconditional submission;
* The Maçonaria Symbols is made up of three Grade universally recognized and adopted: Apprentice, Brother and Master;
* The Maçonaria addition to combat ignorance in all its modalities, is a school, imposing the following program:
a) conform to the democratic laws of the country;
b) live according to the dictates of honor;
c) practice justice;
d) love the next;
e) work for the progress of mankind;

The discussion Maçonaria prohibits party-political and religious-sectarian in their Temples.

Alongside this definition to Macon, too, proclaims the following principles:
- Love of God, the homeland, the Family and Humanity;
- Practice the charity, so discreet, without humiliating;
- Practice the Masonic solidarity in cases fair, strengthening the ties of brotherhood;
- Defending the rights and individual guarantees;
- Consider the work as decent and lawful duty of man;
- Requiring members of its good reputation, moral, civic, social and family, campaigning for the improvement of customs;
- Require tolerance towards all forms of expressions of conscience, religion or philosophy, whose goals are to gain the truth, morality, peace and social good;
- Fighting for the principle of fairness, giving each one what is right according to their ability, work and merits;
- Fighting against fanaticism, the passions, the obscurantism and addictions.
